That's why NWI created Enhanced Sound Control Glass.
Northwestern Industries is proud to introduce its new, patented,
Enhanced Sound Control Laminated Glass. Through the use of a special
PVB interlayer, laminated to two pieces of glass, NWI is able to
improve the sound control of the glass by as much as 30% compared
to standard laminated glass.

Various make ups of Enhanced Sound Control Laminated have been
tested at Riverbank Acoustical Laboratory. If you would like a copy

Until now, laminated glass has been the industry standard for controlling
sound through glass. When compared to standard float glass, laminated
glass provides significant improvement in reducing noise transmission.
Now, however, NWI's Enhanced Sound Control Laminated Glass provides
even more significant sound transmission reduction compared to laminated
